Parsons Home Inspections, LLC is a family owned and operated business serving our community since 2018. Our founder, Shane Parsons, started the company to fulfill his life-long dream of being a business owner. Shane knew that he could really help people by passing on his wide array of knowledge and skill around residential construction and building practices. He hit the ground running and hasn’t looked back since, helping hundreds of home buyers navigate the critical decisions that must be made in the home buying process. Inspired by his father, Steven decided to follow in Shane’s footsteps and become a licensed home inspector thus forming a father & son team that has gone on to help countless home owners make informed decisions with peace of mind.
At Parsons Home Inspections, we offer a wide range of inspection services throughout Northeast Florida, covering areas such as Duval, St. Johns, the Beaches, Nassau, Clay, Putnam, Flagler and more. We have a goal to inspect one million homes!

After more than 15 years working in the construction industry, Shane successfully made the changeover to a career as a Certified Professional Home Inspector. His experience working in the construction industry really gives him an edge in the field to be an outstanding home inspector. Shane has a natural curiosity about how things are assembled and how they work. He cares deeply about quality and detail which are apparent in all of his reports. His favorite part of the inspection process is getting to work with new homeowners and educating them.
Shane is a Florida native, born and raised in South Beach, Miami, FL. He is a true Floridian at heart, spending most of his time at the beach with his wife and two dogs. If he’s not at the beach, he’s either over the grill firing up some steaks or he’s working on a project around the house. He loves to stay busy!

Steven Parsons
Inspector
After a successful career in customer service and sales, Steven was eager to pursue a new challenge. He found a new passion in house renovations and ultimately home inspections. He quickly fell in love with the inspection process and the attention to detail which is evident in all of his reports. Stevens favorite part of the inspection process is sharing his house knowledge and inspection findings with his clients.
Steven is a Florida native, born in Miami, FL. He graduated from East Tennessee State University and currently lives in St. Johns County with his wife and their cat. In his free time, Steven loves to workout, spend time with his dogs, play basketball, and sneak off to the mountains to hit the slopes.
